RULES
Ownership: Envied Riches is inspired and based off the works of Walt Disney Studios and Co. and their affiliates. Every inch of the plot has been designed to fit our original storyline therefore all credit belongs to Envied Riches.Expectations: Three posts in our group scene monthly. Our activity checks are on the 5th, 15th, and 25th. Our accepted minimum in writing length is 150 words. We believe writers come in all shapes and sizes. Some people write more than others, some don’t. Members are allowed to have more than one character but sockpuppeting is against the rules, so one Discord account per writer only!Connections & Face Claims: Love interests and other connections from outside of the server don’t exist within the server storyline/server. If you plan to join but would like to switch faces please mention it in the role request channel or message an admin beforehand. No whitewashing and genderbents are to be discussed first. Bear in mind the moderators reserve the right to deny any face change request.Discord Verification: Having Discord is mandatory since we’re solely a Discord-based RPG. You should have one prior to joining and the account must be verified.Drama and Maturity: Drama is good. Drama is encouraged! That is, in character drama. No OOC drama. You don’t need that and neither does the group. The group will have a considerable amount of NC-17 themes, so you must be 18+ to join. Please bear that in mind when you are applying. Character deaths are to be expected! This is a high fantasy RPG inspired by Tolkien and Martin canon. It would be weird if everyone survived to the end. You’ll be provided with a new character.Discord Formalities:• Discord’s auto-moderation might not allow certain foul language and specific racially charged words to be used in a community server so please heed that in mind.
• No soliciting. You cannot sell anything in this server or DM members to sell them anything. We are here to roleplay; nothing else.
There is no vent channel, therefore we ask you keep all opinions and issues (real life or roleplay related) to yourself or minimized. This is to avoid triggering your server mates and to avoid unneeded drama with other servers/RPGS/resource sites. If you feel something of pertinence needs to be said to the server, DM an admin or moderator first so we can review it.
• In the group writing scenes, we ask you don’t tag (@) your fellow scene mates. If they plan to post on time they are responsible for reading your post.
• The temptation to godmode in scenes will be strong! Try to avoid that. We recommend privately messaging your scene mates to discuss possible outcomes you both agree to.
• Violence: Should be expected and required at times. If the writing is extreme please consider using the spoiler command.

Q: What is your storyline?
A: The definitive plot of the season is a secret held by the admins. This is the best summary we can offer: “Disney characters trying to live and survive in the medieval era. The king is sick and the future of the kingdom lies between his daughter and unknown child. A great evil grows during the political war that no one could ever expect.”Q: Is there magic or magical creatures in your storyline?
A: No. There is no magic or dragons unless specified by the needs of the storyline. There is religion though, and characters who believe in magic. This is subject to change under the needs of the overall story needs.Q: Can I write a character not yet posted?
A:Not at this time but if you don’t see a specific character you want to write as just mention it in role-request or main-channel and we’ll add them onto the request list! There is no time period for how long you might wait though. It could be two days or two years. Disney owns thousands of IPs; it would be unrealistic to have them all represented equally.Q: Why don’t you let potential or existing members write their own character bios?
A: This is a great question but pretty much, I am a control freak. The plot of every season storyline is plotted from beginning to ending. I try my best to make every character fit along the way seamlessly. The last thing we want is for a writer to feel like their handmade character was neglected or considered irrelevant.Q: I’m a previous member. Can I join again?
A: Unless you were specifically told you are never welcomed back by an admin of this server; yes, it’s water under the bridge for us.Q: Are we restricted to a single ship?
A: No, although you should bear in mind this is a high fantasy setting with strong GRR Martin inspiration. Our group storyline will see many characters have multiple lovers at once, affairs, or have multiple spouses/polygamy. We’re not here for happily-ever-afters. Any choice made by the admins to randomly marry your characters off or have a lover killed isn’t personal. Google which ships in Game of Thrones had happy endings.Q: Do I get to pick my love interest?
A: Yes, for the most part. No one will control your sex life but marriages are determined strictly by the needs of the storyline. This isn’t a normal city verse RPG. We’re heavily plotted and political (ie Game of Thrones, etc) and that requires arranged marriages among other complicated situations. We “love” love though and want to see your characters grow organically with others. Please remember canon LGBTQ+ characters must remain so and certain canon age gaps in which the character was a child aren’t welcome (SullyxBoo, RalphxVanellope, etc).Q: What is a “season?”
A: I’ve been running this RPG since 2009. Every few years we completely change the group plot to something entirely new. Seasons typically last anywhere from 2-4 years.Q: What are our activity requirements?
A: We’ll have a group storyline with different scenes to write in. One post is due every 5th, 15th, and 25th of the month.Q: Can I gender bend a character?
A: This is a case-by-case situation. There’s many characters who’s gender defines their character while plenty that don’t matter.Q: Do you accept anything that appears on Disney+?
A: No, we avoid documentaries and (most) historical-inspired/biopics. There’s also many offensive Disney projects we refuse to entertain.Q: Is this a Discord based group?
A: Yes.Q: Can I bring in canon children of Disney characters?
A: Some characters will be pregnant or already have children, but these will be NPCs and not auditionable characters.Q: How many roles can you have?
A: As many as you can handle but the number cannot be higher than your Mee6 Level. Here is a list explaining how many roles you can have:Level 0-1: One character.
Level 2: Two characters.
Level 3: Three characters.And so on and so forth. You can figure out your level by checking #mee6-leadership-board. Please keep in mind sock-puppeting is strictly forbidden and you must remain with one screenname account. If you are caught sock-puppeting you will be immediately banned.Q: Are there roles with the same faceclaims?
A: Yes! We do allow clones if the casting is canon. Otherwise we do not and will actively make sure clones are limited. We kindly ask you scan over #taken-face-claims if you plan to request a face change after acquiring a role.Q: Do I have to use the face chosen in a pre-written role?
A: We do mention on the bottom of each role whether the face is negotiable or not. If it is, message in #role-request and we can discuss alternate options.Q: Can I make changes to bios of a pre-written role? (I.E. job or extra curricular things.)
A: We would prefer if you didn’t change anything considering the bios are already skeletons, but there’s tons of room to grow and develop.Q: How long does a scene usually last?
A: Typically a month.Q: Is there a specific way you want characters killed?
A: Brutally.Q: What happens if my character dies?
A: You’ll be assigned a new one if you don’t have a multi-role roster. Death is extremely normal in our plot and should be expected at any moment. If you remain a consistent member throughout the season your character will be alive again by next season.Q: Is there a posting order?
A: No, just be mindful of your scene mates.
